Specifically Ontario (but Canada wide is fine)
Looking to get a stuffer, casings, etc.
The usual suspects for my first go at sausage making.
Any reasonably prices vendors in Canada for these items....a one stop shop if you will.
Thanks
Emil
Your best bet for a stuffer would probably be Bass Pro but here is a link for a distributor of LEM meat processing products, casings, spice mixes etc.

I purchased a Weston 7lb stuffer from Cabaleas in the US and landed it for cheaper in Ontario than I could have bought anything similar locally.
Here are a couple of other links to sausage supplies in the Ontario region
http://www.canadacompound.com/ (Woodbridge)
http://www.malabarsuperspice.com/index.html (Burlington)
I'll throw this place in, they are accross Canada. Love them they have everything.

Do all these places sell direct to the consumer?
Thanks for the suggestions so far.
I know Unipac does.

Yes the links I provided all deal with the public.
CM- Thanks for the Unipac link. I have never heard of them. Their warehouse in Mississauga may be closest to me...if I can have access to it.

No problem, I just noticed however that they don't show equipment on the web site. They used to sell stuff, I bought my stuffer from them (15 yrs ago) They may not cover that stuff anymore, all the rest their good for though.

JB's is out west and Canadian Butcher Supplies is close to London.
I have gotten LEM supplies at TSC before. I also saw a LEM 5lb stuffer there.
As Lumpy stated CBS 519-296-4545, I did not see any stuffers, but lots of other supplies.
Also give Stuffers a try. http://www.stuffers.com/
I know that they sell to the general public.
I have bought things there. good guys.

I had added Malabar to the Approved Vendors on the recipe site. If the others provide reliable service I can also add them to the list.
Approved Vendors (http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?110-Vendors&p=126#post126)
To find the Malibar link scroll down until you see the list for Canadian Vendors.
Of all the times I have been to the website I never realized there was an approved vendor list. I am guilty for never getting passed the sausage section.
Thanks for keeping track of this Habs, this is a great idea. I may be giving unipac or Canada Compound a try when I do some sausage next time. If I do I will report back my experience.

I recall Stuffers is reliable so I will go ahead and add them. Let me know about your experience with Unipac, if and when you deal with them.
