I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD USE A SMOKE GENERATOR ON A OLD GAS COOK STOVE AND USE THE OVEN AS THE HEAT SOURCE AND RACKS. THANKS!!!

Could you get the temp low enough? 145-220 degrees. Is the door well sealed?
If so I dont see why not.

I'd walk a thousand miles to smoke a "Camel"

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work.

Making jerky in the past, I couldn't keep my oven under 150F even with the door cracked open. You are doing this outdoors, right? The smoke has to vent somewhere & your kitchen system isn't up to the task.

Otherwise, it's an interesting idea and I could see how it could be done successfully given the proper forethought.

Ya think next time I check into a hotel & they ask "Smoking or Non?" they would mind?
