Title: Ground Turkey or Chicken Jerky
Post by: mr5150 on September 21, 2011, 08:42:57 AM
Hello All,

I would like to make some ground turkey and chicken jerky with my jerky gun. Are the smoking temps, times and techniques the same as using ground beef?

Thanks

Jamie

smoking and temps are porbably the same, but the dround turkey we use has no fat and dries very quickly, I would keep a close eye on it so it didn't get over done. Bend but don't break seems to the golden rule.
