So i am thinking about cold smoking burger and using it in chili with some smoked jalepenos. I will cold smoke the burger the day before making the chili. What are everyones thoughts?
I recently made a huge batch of chili (batched up and frozen for those cold nights)...
I used leftover smoked brisket that I ground up.
It's REALLY TASTY.
So, yeah... Sounds like a good plan to me!
I'm with hal on this one - no better chili meat than smoked brisket.
Well I am giving it a whirl. I smoked the burger for an hour and it smells great. Tomorrow i will cook the chili and let you know how it tastes.
Nothing better than smoked meat in chili!

I highly recommend this. Gives it a great flavor.
