Title: I'm all in
Post by: bigredsmoker on December 21, 2011, 03:50:14 PM
haven't been around the board much in the last year, and when I check back in all I read about is Blazin' Pistachios. So I went to Sam's and bought 6lbs. of Pistachios. Couldn't find the JUG of Green Tabasco so I ended up buying 3 small bottles, the last 3 on the shelf. I now have 4 full racks smoking away. When I go in....I go all in! Hope they live up to their reputation.

You won't be disappointed!

I had to order the moonshine jug of Green Tabasco directly from McIlhenny..

Squirt, did you order the personalized jug?

Another hour and I'll see what all the fuss is about.

Nope.  Just the plain ole $38 gallon jug of Tabasco sauce...    :o

Make sure they are good and dry before you try them.   I always have to finish drying mine in the house oven on 'low'.

And like everything else out of these smokers - they will be better tomorrow, and even better the day after.   ;)

The nuts came out great, and you are right squirt, you need to dry them longer in the oven after the smoke. Got some moist ones and I did not care for them. My wife, on the other hand, liked the more squishy ones.
