Post by: andrewmatthews76 on January 01, 2012, 09:56:56 PM
Just made my first few runs on the OBS.

Ribs with Apple Smoke,  Not too bad, made the rub a little spicy

Ribs again 2-2-1 method.....awesome

Pork Shoulder....way too dry...made it for pulled pork...taste is good....too dry tho..

Its a little chilly up here this time of year...cooking times were off a bit....but im learning..

Im a cop up here in Canada....looking to make some meat before Superbowl...

Hi Andrew;

Welcome to the forum. Look like you are off to a good start.

What cut did you use for the pulled pork? Ifyou used a lean cut, it will be dry. You can use a variety of sauces to improve the moistness of the pulled pork.
