Title: Smoked Yams?
Post by: Labluver on February 02, 2006, 09:59:45 PM
Has anyone smoked yams? I don't mean canned yams either. If so, how did you do it? I was thinking of just throwing them in the last couple of hours while doing a Turkey Roast. Anyone have suggestions?

Labluver,
Sounds like a great idea! If it is not done when the turkey is done, you can always finish it in the kitchen. The only thing you may consider, I don't know how long you are planning on cooking the roast, but you may already be done with the smoke cycle and may need to start the smoke up again.
Someone else may have tried this before, we'll have to see.
Let us know your results!!!
