Title: Fan mod recommendation
Post by: STLstyle on March 14, 2012, 07:44:38 PM
I'm looking for comments on fan mods and placement.  I see some go high left and some go low center.  Any comments or opinions on placement for effectiveness?

Also, I assume most are purchased from Grainger?  I hear you need a 2'' drive shaft minimum so if you've got experience here please let me know your thoughts on model # and placement.  Thanks!

Here's a link to the fan mod that should help http://www.susanminor.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?165-Circulation-Fan (http://www.susanminor.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?165-Circulation-Fan)

And here is a link to a whole bunch of discussions about the fan mod http://forum.bradleysmoker.com/index.php?topic=27524.0 (http://forum.bradleysmoker.com/index.php?topic=27524.0)

Hope this helps.

The thread JZ provided was started by me. Myself and JZ were both tinkering with our fan mods on that day and there is a ton of info from the members on it. Hope it help. I cant remember if anything is on there about the barthroom vent fan replacement motor, its about $14. Then all you have to do is buy a fan blade and a housing and screws to mount it. Run you probably around $30 bucks or less.
