After cracking 2 door hinges, i found out that getting another new door from my dealer was of no use.
So i went in my cellar and found a little piece of 2 mm 316 stanless plate, 4 stanless 316 nail 4 mm, some epoxy and a drill.
Removed some of the cracked plastic, acctually plastic just dissolves between my fingers.
Bent the plate 90 degrees, drilled four holes in the plate, drilling was the most of the work because 316 steel is not to easy to drill in.
Used a piece of tape to keep it in plase on the door, drilled 4 holes and popped on the nails.
Measured the upside of the door, that has the same holea as bottom of the door, and finally drilled a 7 mm hole for the door pin.
Used a little epoxy glue to fill the cracks around and in the plastic.
And voila, at least 10 times stronger than the plastic.
The hole operation tok about 15 min.

Great idea.
Nice fix. :)
For the money these things cost I would like to see a better quality product. The OBS where I live is $399 in stores.
At least its fixable. Good work.
There you go, looks good.
Nice fix!
