Post by: icerat4 on April 12, 2006, 03:42:46 PM
Heres a recipe from S&S. I was wondering if anyone did this one.And if ya did how did it turn out.Take the corn husk peeled back .soak it in water then sprinkle salt and pepper over it then wrap it up in bacon then pull the husk back over the bacon and place in the smoker.Anyone try this.If not i will and give ya the results soon. ;D

Icerat I tried something like that but on the grill not in the smoker. I'm not sure your going to get the bacon very crisp in the smoker. Worth a try though if you ask me. Have fun.

Hiya rat;
My buddy next door just tried corn on the cob the way your talking about but rubbed it with a chipolte butter instead of using bacon. I have to say it came out very tasty. Good luck and have fun.
