Title: Immersion grinder MIRACLE
Post by: car54 on March 16, 2013, 08:19:58 AM
My wife works at "Feed My Sheep". It is a kitchen that uses donated food to feed whoever is in need.
On Wednesday, I got a call saying that she ground her finger off at work and there are getting her ready for surgery!

Wow!!

I get there and she is lying in bed and I looked at her finger and it is all mangled. I took a second look and it is full length.

I asked her what is going on.

She said that she put her finger in a running immersion grinder and it got stuck in it. Blood all over the place. An ambulance came and transported her with the blender still stuck on her finger. They figured the finger was gone and they called ahead for surgery. When she arrived they were able to remove the grinder.

To every ones surprise the finger was intact with just minor cuts. She did not even need stitches and only took 1 day off of work!

PRAISE GOD, a MIRACLE!

Whew. I started reading this and was preparing myself for the worst.
Miracle is an underststement. Someone sure is looking after her.
Glad it was more of a scare than an injury.  :)
