Post by: Tulla on March 30, 2013, 12:36:33 PM
A couple of steaks 3 hours cold smoked under oak then finished off on the bbq...........heaven on a stick.
For my first attempt i was well impressed.
Have a good Easter everyone, enjoy your smoking.

I take it your steak had a bone in it  ;D

I like to buy meat in bulk,,,like the whole slab,,,then slice into steaks and cold smoke them all and vac seal, then throw in the freezer till I want a steak

Wallah instant smoked grilled steak

They taste even better if you let them "rest" wrapped in plastic in the frig for a few days.  I usually do up a bunch and freeze them like OU812.  Works great for pork chops too.
