Title: How to kill your bread starter in 1 easy step.
Post by: standles on April 08, 2013, 03:47:28 PM
So I goes to renew the starter.

All goes as planned and I put it in the oven with just the oven light on for a nice rest overnight.

:-[ :-[ :-[  I forgot to prop the door open slightly  :'( :'( :'(

This morning the starter looked broken and bad.  Kinda like it had died and the last thig it did was wet itself.

Check the temp on the oven and 155 degrees   :o

Who would have known that a 40W oven light would get that hot..

Services will be held the evening in the Porcelain room.  Music will be supplied by the Aqua and the wavettes.
