Title: Veterans & Active Duty Personnel
Post by: Habanero Smoker on November 08, 2013, 02:19:26 PM
It is that time of year when many businesses what to serve those that have served or are currently serving. I was going to compile a list, but time got away from me. However I listed a few sites that have compiled such lists. The dates on the offers vary, from the whole holiday weekend, to Veteran's Day only. Almost all of these business require some sort of identification that you are serving or have honorably have served.

Also some offers may only be extended to those that are on active duty, and some local franchises may not be participating; so it is best to call ahead of time to see what type of ID they require, who is eligible for their Veteran's Day Offer, and what day is the offer good for.

Keep in mind these lists are not complete, so you may want to do your own search. A phrase such as "Veterans Day offers 2013" will bring up a large list of sites and/or businesses.

I just received an email for Jiffylube. If there is a Jiffylube/Hoffman's carwash near you, they are not only give a free carwash this year, but they are also including a free oil change. This offer is good for veterans and active duty personnel, and is only offered on Monday the 11th. You should call ahead of time for details.
