Title: Noodles Hab & All Members
Post by: Oldman on February 17, 2014, 08:34:43 AM
Greetings all,

For as long as I can remember my family has also made  home make noodles for their soups. Myself included.

However, due to my illness for the past 4 years I have not been able to make my own. A friend turn me on to Bahr's Noodles. They have no preservatives in them. They are better anything I've ever purchased from a super market. They offer two size bags. 7 oz or 32 oz. I get the 32 oz size and I've have found them to be stable for a couple of years.

Now here is the interesting part. You call in your order but they do not accept payment at that time. They ship the noodles with an invoice that you pay later.

Name: Bahr's Noodles
Address. P.O. Box 305
Georgetown, IL 61846
Phone number is 217-662-6121

Hab if you are still admin on the recipe site I strongly suggest you add them to our vendow list.

As far as my health I'm headed in the correct direction. This is due to two doctor's and three hospital stays. Today I feel as strong at 64 as I did when I was 54 years of age. The bad new is I lost both doctors this past January. One due to insurance changes and the other to death. However, on the 26th of this month I start with a new specialist that I have done a lot of research on and he looks like the real deal.

If things keep going as they have in the past couple of months I believe I will live out a natural life.

One day I will write about my illness and treatments and perhaps it will help someone else. While I give great weight to the words yes or no I only believe in apsolutes. Until I reach an apsolute I will not share this information concerning my health or treatments.

As always I remain...

Glad to hear you are doing better. I completely understand loosing doctors in that manner. We have lost a few over the years.

How is your little dog doing? Still handling the home made wheel chair alright?

Its great to hear your health is improving. I know all to well how bad health issues are and when you have to change doctors for various reasons it is like taking two steps backwards. I hope this new doctor is able to hope right in where the others left off and continue with your recovery. Best wishes.

After 13 years we lost Skyway last year. His remains are in my office is a nice container. When I go Susan will mix his ashes with mine. There is a hole in me with his loss.

Thanks for asking.

Olds;

Do you have more information on Bahr's. I couldn't find any additional information during my searches.

What I would like to know are their business hours? Do they sell a variety of noodles? Is there a minimum purchase per order?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

They don't answer the phone on the weekends. Leave a message and they will call you back on week days.

I've been using them for over 3 years now. I don't believe they have a web-site.  Bob stated using them about 7-8 years ago and all I can say is next to making your own they noodles are the best around.

They will ship 7oz packets t0 32 oz. I know of no minimum. Give them a call.
