Title: Weekly Bread
Post by: seemore on April 01, 2014, 05:16:02 PM
My wife has sourdough starter and has to make something with it every time she refreshes it, which is weekly.
She has been working on bread.  She graduated from peasant loaves to sandwich bread.
Here is what she did this past Sunday:
The rise:

After the bake:

Looks like sourdough on steroids!!!!  Too bad tomatoes are not in season yet - it would make a great BLT!!!!

Those are some great looking loaves, maybe you could rustle up a BB&SC (bacon, bacon & Smoked Cheese) sammie with it

The bread looks great. Kinda like my mom used to make when I was a kid. I always loved fresh home made bread from the oven.  :)

Good looking bread, and  sour dough is one of my fav's.  Toast or sammies always good.
