Title: Whiskey Injection
Post by: DQuade on June 10, 2014, 08:09:19 PM
I've been thinking of doing an injection in my pork butt.  In the past I have done a mix of brown sugar and apple juice but would like to try brown sugar and whiskey.  Has anyone ever tried that before and if so, how did it turn out?

I use Jack Daniels in  a lot of my sauces. I think it could be good. Of course JD is bourbon not whiskey.

Bourbon is whiskey  ;)  but not all whiskey is bourbon

But also I think it would be a good addition, I use it when curing bacon and its great but I burn the alcohol off first.
