I recently got a BS611. How do I gain access to the inside to clean??

Hi sacha,

Welcome to the forum.

I don't have the BS611, but I do know that the side panel opposite the bisquette burner (the side that has the vents) slides off. That will give you easy access to the inside of the generator. I was at Gander Mt. and attempted to slide the panel off, and I know; at least for that display model, the panel does not slide off that easy. :) I gave up before I knocked the display unit over. But if you look at the top of that panel, you will see two locking tabs that the panel slides into that hold the panel in place. It may take a little more than a slight force to slide it off, at least for the first couple of times, but it will slide off.

EUREKA! I have found it!! The side panel comes off quite easily,.. once the 2 screws are removed from the SG bottom

Great to hear you have it solved. Now I know why I couldn't remove the panel when I was in Gander Mt. :)
