Above are the goodies I received. My son has laid claim to the wallet but I think I can get it back. The jerky board will give me some incentive to try making some. It is a great array of gifts.

Thanks to the Man In Plaid. I can't wait to try everything.

Thanks to Gus Robin for organising.

PS my gift will be going out soon as I can find the last item.

OK, the time has finally come.

Ladies & Gentlemen --mail your gifts and let the fun begin. Make sure you mail it no later than Dec. 7th.
Remember to include your name and screen name in the package so people know who to thank.
Please pack all fragile items securely as last year we had a number of "fatalities" occur during shipping.

I try to keep track that everyone has sent and received a gift, but don't have the time to track it in the posts.
SO send me a PM when you have mailed your gift.
Send it when you have actually mailed it, not "I am going to mail it tomorrow."

PM me when you get your gift and post pictures of the gift in the Christmas Exchange "I got it" folder. This is an important part of the fun.

Thanks for your participation,
Gus

Received my gifts yesterday after I had left for work so I had to wait until this morning to open it and see what goodies Santa had sent.
The Northwoods Seasoning is one of our favorites and we just ran out so this came at the perfect time. The dipping sauce looks interesting, will have to think of something to try that with. I've also been looking at gloves similar to the Webers.

Thank You Paul

I got my gifts today!!!!

Thanks so much Jim (Grouperman941)  I love the gadgets!  My beer can chicken holder has seen better days and it was definitely time for a new one.  How did you know...  :) :) :)  The lights are already stuck on my grill and I cant wait to use the skewers.  Well done on the Pistacios my friend.  My son thanks you as well.  I guess I will need to look up the recipe up here on the forum.  Thanks for the rubs and spices, they will be put to good use!  Have a Merry Christmas and thanks again!!!!!

Great, Snelly. Glad you liked it all. Hope you have a Merry Christmas.

I got mine from ragweed today, too:

Awesome load of stuff. Two Smoking Gun rubs, Meehan's Rib Eye seasoning, Three Banditos Salsa assortment, Smoking Gun Jerky Marinade, locally made chocolates, homemade venison jerky (the famous wafers!) and wild plum jelly. Plus a nice letter explaining where each item came from.

The jerky won't make it through today. The hot salsa is almost empty already, too. Jelly and candies are delicious. No doubt I'll be using the seasonings, and now I have another flavor to add to my Christmas jerky arsenal.

Thanks so much, Joe. Have a Merry Christmas!

I got my gift from Mez on Wednesday and was hoping my computer would be fixed so I could post pictures, but it's still in the computer hospital.  So the best I can do is tell y'all what I got and post pics later as this little tablet doesn't have pic downloading capabilities.

He sent me:

A pair of 'ove' gloves, heat, cold and steam resistant.
A 6 pac of Great Lakes Brewing Co. Christmas ale.
2 Daddy Hinkles Meat Marinades.
Bergman Original Ball Park Mustard.
Winking Lizard BBQ Sauce.
Pure Ohio Maple Syrup.
A package of Crown Royal pucks.
Some homemade pepper relish.
And some rasp-jal jelly.

Thanks so much to Mez for the great gift box and I will post pics as soon as I get my tower back.

Merry Christmas everyone!!    Joe

I have to start out with the obvious, this forum has the best members and friends out there, looks like this year's exchange was a big success again. As I noted in the original thread I got busy with my new job and missed the sign up deadline to participate this year. Of course the story doesn't stop there, I came home on Thursday night late from meetings and events and found a box from our friend Patrick (RedJada) who said he didn't want me to go without a box to open this year and sent a bunch of cool sauces, seasonings and even a jar of Red Bell Pepper Ancho chili Jam. Can't wait to smother a pork loin in that and smoke it, going to be so good. I can't tell you how much this meant to me and how much all of my friends here mean to me. Merry Christmas to all and I hope the new year finds everyone's family in good health and happy.

Anybody know this guy "rdevous"? I have not received his confirmation of shipment in spite of numerous requests. So if anyone knows how to get a hold of him, please contact him.
Thanks
Gus

This looks like great fun, so nice to see.  I bowed out this year as I'm a relative newcomer and wasn't sure what to expect.  I'll get in on this next year, looks like fun!

Thank you Racer Red. Awesome gifts: Alaskan salmon seasoning, Real Tree pot holder, a three pack with KC Butt spice, Pig's ASS rub and Carolina style Rub Some Butt BBQ seasoning, a Winnipeg Jets bumper sticker which will have my coworker gob smacked cause he hates the Jets LOL, an M&M's toy and a Frosty the Snowman stuffy. The last 2 items disappeared instantly and I am not sure where they ended up, barely got a pic of them. Damn kids, and they are 23 and 24. LOL Merry Christmas to you and yours and everyone on this great forum.

Lots of good gifts here. I have been informed that my gift will not make it in time for Christmas. So I would like to say thanks to Gus for putting this together, it's a lot of work on his end. Thanks Gus.

I will post photos of my gift when it arrives. Until then

Thank you very much for the great assortment of Southern sauces and seasonings.  I believe there is one you made included?

Thank you and Merry Christmas to you, your family and to Gus for all his work.

The last one was lost by the post office and the sender is putting together a replacement package. (that is why it is a good idea to ship it via a traceable method. Although it was lost, at least it was trackable up until they lost it and evidence that they were at fault.)

Part of the fun (and obligation) of participating is posting pics of what you received. If you haven't posted yet, please do so asap. Thanks

My gift from iceman was the one MIA. So, all the way from Alaska, over the hills, through the woods and who knows where else this has been......

In the mason jars is Boss Hog's Sop'n Sauce witch is a home made BBQ sauce that we cant wait to try. I'll defiantly leave feed back once we do. Also received some smoked Alaska salmon, now I will be able to see how good smoked salmon is supposed to taste. LOL. And I love hot sauce, the hotter the better :o. Seeing that I am out of bacon, I will be making some buckboard bacon in the very near future and while waiting for that to get happy I'll be making some breakfast sausage. Love the smoke and spice book, I'll be doing a lot of reading while we wait for winter to get over. I showed the wife the Moose Nuggets, she thought there were some kind of rocky mountain oysters until I told her what they are. Well, hope I get at least one. ;D Also got some great spices and a Wasilla Alaska baseball cap (is that even on the map?, LOL). Thank you iceman for a great gift. Hope you had a great Christmas and wish you and your family a great New Year...

What you don't know... For abut the past week or two, Gus and iceman have kept me posted on what was going on. iceman was getting ready to send a new gift when the post office finally tracked this one down. Although lost and late, this one is just fine. Thanks to Gus for putting this Christmas exchange together, cant wait until next years. And thanks iceman for keeping on the USPS to locate and deliver this gift.

Happy New Year everyone

Patrick and Pattie
