Title: smoked ribeye
Post by: drano on September 07, 2015, 04:39:45 PM
I was going to try smoked meatloaf this weekend, but the wife didn't think she'd like that.
So I picked up a boneless ribeye and gave it a try.
Used my typical rub, put it in at 250 degrees with 3 mesquite pucks.
Was at 130 deg in 1.5 hours.  Since lunch was still a ways off, I dropped the temp to 200 and let it coast for about 1 hour.
Wow was it good.  And a shorter smoke, so not a lot of grease to clean up.  Need to do these more often.
Sorry, it was gone before I thought of taking a picture.
