Title: Biscuits won't drop
Post by: bwright on May 01, 2016, 09:17:12 AM
I just got my Bradley 4 rack digital smoker last week.  Seasoned it and it seemed like the biscuit cycling was slow (first use).  Today, I have a small port butt in and at first (after an hour) got an "E" message.  Shut everything off, re-started and again the same issue. If I shut the whole thing down every 20min and bring it back up a biscuit drops, but (I took the back of the generator off) at the 20min intervals, the arm does not go back far enough and the biscuit doesn't fall.  I am just moving the biscuits on my own now every 30 min.

This is the second time I have use this device and have had issues both times. Could very well be operator error, and the posts look good for not advancing, any advice for a novice on the issues I am having??

Hi bwright;

Welcome to the forum. Sorry you didn't get any replies earlier.

Make sure the sensor cord is securely connected.
What's an E error (http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?930-What-is-an-%22E%22-message)

But it sound more like your push rails may be out of alignment.
Bisquettes Won't Advance (http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?923-Why-won't-my-bisquettes-advance-when-I-push-the-Advance-button). Scroll down to the end of the post.

If neither works, give Bradley a call.

More troubleshooting and helpful hints.
