So as I needed to get a batch of smoked salmon done and I finally got around to hooking up the new PID loop controller. everything works good, pretty simple to use the only problem is without the BDS temperature probe that connects from the smoke generator to the cabinet The E alarm for the oven side of the smoke generator will not stop. how do I disable this I don't want to listen to that screaming beeping noise all The time that I am smoking. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If I'm right it sounds like you didn't install the small plug to the back of the smoke generator it should have come with the PID.
That could be it exactly. I will look again but I do not believe there is any sort of single plug to go into the smoke generator
You either have to get a "null" plug to fool the SG or keep the original cable plugged in the BDS
Rextur, thank you that was all it took was plugging in the cord between the SG and the cabinet. I'll have to play with a little bit tomorrow make sure that the Auber is still in control.
You still have to plug this cable with the PID? I thought it was not needed :( Lesson learned.
The Auber can't control the smoke generator at all. You still have to program the SG using the SG control panel
It does but only the original ;)
Here's a link for that plug. You can make one also.

Correct, we are talking about the BDS
