I usually keep it pretty simple when doing a brisket. Just some salt and pepper and maybe a little garlic powder(i put garlic on almost everything though).  I don't like to overpower the brisket flavor.

Here are a few that I found on the net. Seems to be a wide variety, as usual!

Best Odds Brisket Rub:
1/2 cup paprika

3 tablespoons garlic powder
3 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons oregano

2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

And of course your standard salt and pepper just like the great guys in this thread posted!
If you want to read about rubs all day, just put "brisket rub" in the google machine, and go get a tall glass :D
I used the first rub for my brisket that I am going to do this weekend. Hope you find one that you like!!

I'm a big fan of the TX style rubs.  I use them on briskets, ribs, and chicken.  My only advice is if you use a rub on chicken and also brine the chicken, reduce or leave the salt out of the rub othewise the chicken will be very salty.
