Title: My First Brisket!
Post by: mavrickone on September 28, 2008, 05:04:18 AM
         Hi Guys & Gals,
I just cooked my first brisket on my BSS and it is now in FTC mode. I have done ribs, pork roast, turkey breast,ABT,and chicken breast both skin on and boneless stuffed with ham and cheese wraped in bacon and thanks to everyone here they all rurned out great.
I had bought a brisket a couple of weeks ago and had it all ready and went out to get the BS set up and the plastic part that holds the heat slide bar was broken off so that one got oven time but still good.
After Bradley sent me the new parts I decided to go again.I gave it a good rub and put it in the fridge for a day and then took it out and put it in the BS about 8:00 last night and took it out about 6:30 this AM.
I have no idea how it will turn out but I will give a report. After my nap :)

Snap a few pics if you can before it is devoured.
