I just recently saw someone post an appetizer using bacon wrapped tater tots. Now, I can't find it. Can anyone help me.

I tried using the above search method but didn't get much. I don't remember seeing bacon wrapped tater tots on the forum either. I just did a quick search on google and here are a couple of recipes I came up with. They look fantastic and I would bet appling a little smoke first, then into the Big Easy they would be excellent! ;)

Can't get much better than Bacon wrapped Taters!!! I'd bet they'd be even better with a little smoke job!!!

That got me thinking if one could slather those tots in some nice hot sauce, wrap, run some smoke and finish in the Big Easy for a final crisping. Yep, I will try that and report.

I like this idea, except I would cook them in the Big Easy then toss them in a Buffalo chicken wing style sauce. Looking forward to hearing about your outcome.

I agree with Habs. I'm sure they would be good, I always dip fries in wing sauce instead of ketchup.
Ok i made a few so here they are.
I pre cooked the tater tots and the bacon. Wrapped the tots with the bacon.

Smoked em @200* for 20 mins. They needed something so i dropped some hot sauce on em ;D Maybe next time i will top em with smoked pepperjack.

Maybe inject some hot sauce into the middle of the cooked tot, before going into the smoker?
