I have a BDS BTDS76P and it stopped working today. I opened up the digital unit and found a brown wire to be broken / disconnected. Here are the pictures of the wire and the back of the unit.

It appears that the brown wire was snapped off of something else. Where does the brown wire attach?

flatfish, on my six rack, the brown wire connects to the 10 amp fuse.  You should see the male side of a spade connector with nothing attached to it on the on the back side of the fuse holder.  Before you reattach the brown wire, you might want to pull back the cover on the female side of the connector and gently crimp the connector closed a bit.  I had a similar issue when I was fiddling with my smoker generator last weekend.  I thought that the connection felt loose and sloppy when I reattached it, and a loose connector would certainly explain why the connection pops apart so readily.
