Odds are they will be sticky as s&%$* coming out of the vac pacs unless you left the nuts in the smoker long enough that the sauces dried on them.  So when you bring them out at deer camp, get the boys on them right away.

I did that same size can last weekend with Frank's buffalo wing hot sauce just like you.  Smoked them and then tossed them in the dehydrator until the sauce dried.  There is the key!  Oh yeah, when I sauced them prior to going in the smoker, I threw in a bunch of Jan's Rub and stirred it through. ;)

Your guys at camp are going to like you even more.

They were very dry prior to vac pack. In the Bradley at 200 for 4 hrs at least.

Maybe I will test them and if need be sit in Oven for a little warming up.

Thanks KyNola

CRG,
Sounds to me like you got those nuts good to go.  You have such bartering power when you get back to deer camp.  I'm telling you they are just ridiculous good.

CRG,
You are so dating yourself.  I too am old enough to remember the group HOT NUTS that produced an album of that nature. :)  "Don't look at me Mister, I seen you tilt".
