Easy Off works great hot or cold. I don't use it in my grills like I said, but to clean racks and basket that have a lot of gunk on them it's a dream. Again the best I have found (for me) is the use Easy Off and a plastic bag to hold the racks/baskets in and let them set. This really does a great job.  No, I will not remove the seasoning in the smoker, grill or Big Easy but I will remove the chuncks that will burn and cause bad odors/taste.  That's just me though.  ;)

Guess I might have to pick some up, my v pan is getting pretty gunky, tried scrubbing, but am getting lazy in my old age.
Rodney Dangerfield got his material from watching me.

I only used it on the V pan as I thought I may have had a clog.
Never use it on the racks and never do anything to the inside of the smoker
I did put the V tray in a bath of piping hot water after it was cleaned
And repeated the process one more time just to be sure all the residue was removed
All I wanted to do was slow smoke some ribs.  Another addiction created thanks to the Bradley that requires regular servicing...  But what an addiction to have.  Even better to share here with some of the best people on the planet.

Would you like smoke with that sir ?

I spray my racks before each use with spray canola or veggie oil.

I spray my v tray with a a grill spray for extreme heat.

And I clean after each use and the stuff usually soaks right off.

There is also a spray called Dawn Power Dissolver that works real good on
the semi-burnt stuff and does not have the smell as oven cleaner.

CRG, where might I find Dawn Power Dissolver?

Pretty much every grocery in my neck of the woods carries it as well.  Works pretty darn good too.

Tommy, I spray my BE basket with oil spray and dawn dissolve afterwards and clean up is quick.

Sounds good CRG.  When I cook with any basket I spray it with Pam (I don't have the easy out baset yet) even my burger basket get a lite sprits so nothing sticks. But it's a booger to clean unless I use Easy Off, but I'm gonna give this stuff a try for sure. I let you know.
Thanks again for the info.
