I expect pork butt to go on sale around here also. Deer season begins Monday, which is a paid holiday for most of PA  ;D. The markets normally have good prices on pork butt for the hunters processing deer. I hope to pick up three or four.

Here both stores are advertising boneless.  One store has untrimmed boneless pork butt for $1.29lb sold by the case.  The other has boneless pork butt roast for $1.49lb.

That a shame. There are two others near by but I don't get their flyers. I may take a drive by them and see what their prices are. I can't take advantage of this sale. I just don't have any freezer space. I believe the sale ends Thursday.

Local "County Market" (they go by different names in different towns, used to be "Cub Foods") has butts for 99 cents a pound this week.

I'm going to the Piggly Wiggly on Highland Avenue... The way I always go...
