Been doing it this way for a wile now. Take some jalapenos.

Take some home made little smokies.

Put on some cream cheese then a little smokey then top with the other half of the jalapeno and roll.

Out of the oven.

Man O Man these are goooooooooood.

Hot or cold these babys are a great snack.

What would the pastry be?

KyNola

Looks like crescent roll pastry that you buy in the tube like biscuits.  Rather than roll them up into crescent rolls, lay it flat, fill it and then roll 'em up and bake.  What do you say 812?  Am I close?

Just like any other sausage just smaller and ALLOT more time consuming, used sheep casings and twisted about every 1 1/2" and smoked for 2 hr pulled out when the IT hit 152. Taby loves them right out of the bag.
