Horses Ovaries Last Night

OK, at a gathering of a hundred or so of our best friends in Renton, Washington, our C-Dory boating group assembled from around the country for the Seattle Boat Show. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres in our room with a few friends. Our friends provided the Bombay Sapphire gin. I provided the dried pork loin (lonzini), dried Tuscan salami, a smoked beef stick sausage, smoked cheddar and mozzarella and the crackers. Damn, and me with no camera!

And we get do-overs again tonight on these treats! The SWMBO usually just lets me open one at a time but for guests we get to show off! Off to breakfast, and then the Seattle Boat Show in Qwest Event Center, then down to Lake Union for the Boats Afloat part. Going to buy a little tide and current book, looking at little hard shell kayaks, NOT going to buy a new boat (but then I have said that twice before!).

Actually, after the Bombay Sapphire, my friend treated me to some of his Poit Dhubh (pronounced, for some unfathomable Gaelic reason "Potch Ghoo") Gaelic Whiskey with our dried and smoked goodies, and it all made sense...
