Hi guys and gals, I just mixed up 4lbs of venison with a LEM original jerky mix. I also used a eastman jerky gun to shot the jerky on to the trays, I had it laying around for a few years now but it worked ok. Just a pain to refill it all the time. I'll smoke it with 1.5 hours of hickery, then finish it in the bradly. The 4lbs ended up making 7 trays. I'll post the finished pic later.

mixed up and ready for the gun

time to dry out

I didn,t have time to post the pics last but here are the finished pics. The jerky came out good but it was a little bland for our liking. Next time I'll add some more spice to kit it up a little. The texture came out better than I thought it would. Now to see if the guys like it when we go on our snowmobiling trip next weak. ;D

I'm sure they will like it, even bland jerky is still good.

Anyone know why I can't view the pics?

In the pic box it states "this image or video has been deleted or moved"

Been there Done that.

Now to put them all back where they came from is the fun part.
