Hi
I'm new to this forum, but had an original Bradley bought when they first came out in Richmond. I was looking at buying a Green Egg but after checking everything out I bought a digital Bradley this afternoon. Took it home and hooked it up, seasoned it for 1 hour and loaded in a ham and smoked it for 4 hours. Turned out awesome. I'm glad I made the right choice.

Welcome back to the silver side of life bweb.  As I know a lot of people are crazy about their BGE's, so not knocking them necessaily, but can't get into them what with their cost, having to remove the meat and grills to deal with the fire, the weight, and the smallness of the cooking chamber.  I've had some great food served from BGE's, but the DBS sure seems easier, less costly, and more versatile.

As already stated - we like pics, but some of us like good recipes better!

Smoke it up newbie.  Good purchase.  I have been eyeing the green egg myself  ;)
Is it bad if my wife refers to the smoker as "The Mistress"?
