First Time Pastrami

This is the first time we have made pastrami.  This time we used one of the recipes 10.5 gave us for making pastrami from a corned beef brisket.
We did this a week ago, but time got away from us again and we had neglected to post it.

It made some great pastrami and Swiss cheese sandwiches for lunch last week!
We plan to make another one, using this recipe again.
Of course, we would like to make Hab's recipe in the not-so-distant future as well..........

Pretty indeed, looks like a good deal of the seasoning stayed with it while sliced. I really like the color with the crusty outside.
