I need one to try out. I have a couple but would like some more ideas. What do you use? Seen a few on here but thought I could get a few more this way. Thanks for any help.

I'm a dry seasoning kinda guy, but what I do is apply a cure mix, then whatever flavors I want.

Pepper, cajun, chilies, cumin...

I used a LEM kit last time.  It was a wet mix..

I agree Backwoods is good I also like Uncle Bucks from Bass Pro. Of course I work at a BP so the price is really hard to beat.

I still love the soy sauce, worchestershire, bbq sauce marinade.

For 5 to 7 lbs of meat:

1 bottle soy sauce (10 oz)

1/2 bottle worchestershire sauce

3/4 cup favorite bbq sauce

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup Morton Tenderquick (1/2 the rate recomended on the bag)

combine all ingredients and stir well.  Put in meat and allow meat to sit in marinade for 48 hours, tumbling meat occasionally.
after placing meat on racks, I like to sprinkle with white pepper and black pepper to taste.
