For my travels to BBQ events cross-country.  Room for two+Yorkshire Terrier, Bradley in one bay, Caldera in another.  This one is a 1990 and looking for one like this but a little newer.

Main features have to include AT,
Freezer in one bay for storing meat for jerkey, etc,
Power steering,
OTR heating/air conditioning system,
Cruise,
Air suspension (when in motion and when parked).
Both the 24 V and 12 V electrical systems

Want to find a home in Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, or Wyoming when I retire..get out of California so I don't have to pay state sales tax.  Going to look for a 2 BR home with no parking requirements for 50ft covered parking at the home for the bus, and not too far out in the boonies.

Ya Mike that is a hoot for sure. Did you figure out how to make it zoom in and out as well?

Bill I don't know about those other states but let me tell you land in Florida is now going going gone through the roof. My home in 12 year (give or take a year) is valued at three times as much as when we moved in~~! Now get this: This house was built in 1950-51 and it only has one bathroom and is under 1800 sf!

The Estate 2 doors down (it is on the water and it is about 30,000 sf)5 years ago was only 1 million (it is an older home as well). Today it is over 3 million.

If you are thinking about Florida then I would suggest buy it today and sell it when you retire. [:D] Believe me when we retire we are selling both homes. At the moment we are looking at various pieces of land to purchase.

That type of motor home home you are looking for looks larger than the one I posted. When I saw the deck on it I was reminded of my toon boot~~!

Bill, if you're looking to get away from State Sales Tax, don't come here! (WA)

And prices here are through the roof too.  Not like NY or San Fran, but to give you an idea, my mom just listed her 2 bedroom, 1 bath house in a fairly nice are of Seattle.  It's not the big homes w/ beautiful yards neighborhood, but close to the city and the water.  It's listed for over 1/2 a million and the way things have been, there will probably be a bidding war.

Now granted, she has the Viking range and all the cool stuff in there, but still, that gives you an idea.

Hi Bill,

I know I've mentoned it before, but NH is a beautiful state with no state sales tax and plenty of cheap land--at least compared to the prices others are mentioning!

I lived in NH as a boy for four years. Other than being too cotton-pickin' cold it would be my state of choice for sure~~!

I have decided to not remodel my kitchen and will be moving all the appliances I bought to the new location, where ever it might be.  I spent almost $27K on appliances for the dream kitchen, but just cannot see doing it here with the possibility of a move in the future.

New Hampshire is beautiful in the Autumn, but my wife would never settle for the cold.  It matters not to me, as I plan on being in Northern California in the winter anyway, but certainly will be a state to look at when we are ready to take the plunge!

Never have lived in the East, but have done some traveling when in the Army and always thought the area was beautiful.  How are property taxes in N.H.?

<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">I can understand that. In my our little house (the one I had before I married Susan) It had a wall A/C unit. Well right after we sided the house, new roof, central A/C and added oak kitchen cabnets with new appliances we sold the house~~!

BTW in today's paper it stated that since 1999 and 2004 the median sales price for housing has increased 77% !!! If we did not already live here we could not afford to.

EDIT Oh ya we change out all of the windows as well.
