is quick cure the same as cure #1?

Sodium nitrite is considered a quick cure. That is found in many cures, not only cure #1, but in Morton's TQ which is also considered a quick cure, but has sodium nitrate also. As with TQ; cure #1 is also referred to as a quick cure, but the two are measured differently.

If you let us know which context it was used or how it is used, one of us can supply you with a correct answer.

Hab it is from allied kenco and the mixture is salt, 6.25% sodium nitrite, 1% propylene glycol.  I want to use it for bacon

That is Cure #1. When you see that the sodium nitrite is 6.25% and the only other ingredient is salt (propylene glycol - is often added for anti-caking and to keep the mixture evenly distributed).
