New to BS

Hi everyone - I purchased my first DBS and it came this afternoon (so exciting). I am currently going through the forum and reading the manual. Looking forward to seasoning and smoking this weekend. Have to go buy some supplies first. My previous smoker was a little charcoal bullet that cost me $36 dollars. Had some wonderful meals from that little item, but it gave up the ghost after memorial day weekend (just feel apart) and I did my research and took the plunge. Looking forward to cooking my first meal.

Thank you all for the warm welcomes!!! I've picked up most pf the supplies and plan on getting started with this seasoning this afternoon and cooking tomorrow. I am very excited and feel confident that if I have problems, I know exactly where to get good advise and....a little BS to go along with it.

Just to clarify one point....I am a gal...but I'm sure I'll still fit in.

I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Welcome ilwaldens. No gender problems here. We have a number of marvelous ladies that contribute regularly here. I've learned a lot from them. Don't forget to post some pix of your smoked goodies. We luvs pictures here.
