Kansas City Smokers, or if you know the area

I will be going to Kansas City to Worlds of Fun in the middle of August and I would like to visit a few GOOD BBQ joints while I am in the area any of you Kansas City Pelletheads know of an old school smells like smoke place I can get the best KC BBQ at ?

Only one I visited was Arthur Bryants, and it's over across the street from the race track in Kansas City Kansas....all the way across town from WoF and OoF.

http://www.gatesbbq.com - Cheaper, long tradition with the downtown KC area, not my favorite but still good
http://www.jackstackbbq.com/ - Close second on meat and sauce, I like this one a lot too, best beans, a lot of people like their cheesy corn bake as well, I'm not a fan.

If you have any other questions about the area or any of the BBQ places, let me know. Worlds of Fun is a nice park, should be a good time. I'm not sure how much more it is to get a dual pass into oceans of fun, if it's not too much you might consider that but oceans of fun is not worth it by itself IMO.

The Z-Man sandwich is a little bit of heaven in a bun. 

The line for the place is usually out the door but it moves quick.  And yes the address is correct if you go there it's inside a gas station.

Oh man, how could I forget Oklahoma Joe's. That one I would say would be the best choice if you are in the mood for pork. Their other BBQ is good as well but their pork is probably the best in KC.
