Do you guys think that these would to make. I'm not that cheap 20 more dollars for more ribs  sounds good to me. i think that its a good idea to use them any thoughts

Gizmo

First of all, they are definitely worth having.
Two schools of thought here.
They can be easily made if you have the material, tools, or know someone that does.  If you have to pay for the material or the labor for someone to do it, you will probably find the cost of those that do make them not that outrageous.  If you are tight on money yourself, and these days that is .... well you know, you might be be able to save a few dollars or you might be able to trade some good Q with a machinist friend for them.
Second, there are a lot of great folks out there that have businesses and need your support.  Yard and Pool is selling the original as designed and authorized by the original inventor who is a member of the board here.  There are others out there as well.
I would suggest getting a set by what ever means you have available and Enjoy.

SL, you can cut it down to two bubba pucks by using a Bradley puck as your third bubba puck.

try to use one that doesn't flake too much like special blend or mesquite.

That's the route I went. 2 bubba's and 1 puck. Using them for the first time right now. Got a "Leg of Pork" (Butt portion) in the smokey, going to see how it works out for pulled pork. Also a first I have the PID mikeradio so graciously loaned to me with the intent of passing it forward when I am done with it. You rock Mike. The generousity on this forum is outstanding.
I like to walk threw life on the path of least resistance. But sometimes the path needs a good kick in the ass.

OBS
BBQ
One Big Easy, plus one in a box.

Yea I still need to make me three of those. I've got the resources at work, just haven't run them down. Maybe soon?
