This past Tue nite during chat it was suggested that we broaden our out-look. i.e. a section for gun owners, a section for gardeners etc.. What is your thought concerning this matter? We have the space and more than enough bandwidth. Should they be open forums like this one at Bradley or should they be summitted to you?

Your call.....

My opinion it would be better to have them as open forums set up like this forum, that way members can freely exchange ideas and get answers to specific questions. Then within that forum, we could have closed sections. These closed sections would go through myself and those sections would include articles, how to's, etc. submitted by members with expertise in their field. That way members can quickly go to one of these articles for some quick information, but will not be able post in those categories.

It seems as if this idea has not taken off with the members....

It does seem like the site is a little quite, but I've always used the recipe site for more of a reference than a social call (other than the chat room). It's a great place to find a recipe real easy without having to wade through all the other stuff.

There may be others outside the people who use the chat room that have the same interest. Some times you just have to make something available to see if there is enough interest. Maybe we should try setting up a section on gardening; to see how that goes. That subject seems to generate a lot of interest. It should cover both country (suburbs) and city gardening (lots and rooftops).
