Just got a new bradly smoker on sunday morning. Did the " break-in". I figured I would try some pork ribs as my first smoke because I wasn't read to smoke my sockeye yet. New smoker, I had to smoke something right?. The rub was just thrown together with what I had

2 tablespoons-  chilly powder
2-tablespooms brown sugar
1 tablespoon- paprika
1 tablespoon- salt
1tablespoon-pepper
1 tablespoon- garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon- mustard powder
1/2 tablespoon- dried chilly flakes

smoked 2 hours 40 min with 2 pucks hickory then 1 cherry 2 hickory and so on at 230
wraped it in tin foil with apple juice for 2 hours at 250
Then out of tin foil with a little bbq sauce for another 45min

Oh boy was it tasty. I was pretty happy with the results for my first time. and with some practice it will only get better.

But I did have one problem twice I noiced the puck wouldn't feed automaticly but manualy it was fine. Any ideas?

Check your feed tube and make sure it is seated all the way down. If it isn't there is a small lip that the pucks tend to stick on and you don't notice it right away.
