I can not get my cabinet to heat up.  Since I have received my DBS I would sometimes have to unplug and plug the sensor cable in, I have even swapped ends with it.  always seemed to worked after this. I just opened up the generator like another post had said to do, and check for lose wires, every thing looks fine.  Anybody have any suggestions on what I should do next?

I just plugged it straight into the outlet like you suggested, still didn't heat up. My outlet is good must be something with the element.

Check inside your SG.    There may be a loose of disconnected wire.

Call Bradely Support.  They will help you over the phone and get you back up running.

It could be something as simple as a loose wire in the cabinet, or a thermo fuse blowned, or a bad element.

You can take the back off the cabinet and look for a loose wire. If that is not it, then I would do what Gizmo suggest.

Are you getting any error messages?

Here is a link to some trouble shooting ideas; they sometimes come in handy when problems happen outside of Bradley's normal business hours:

Hi kelpiedg

As CRG has stated you could have a burnt out heat element or the thermal fuse in behind the back cover of the tower is blown or a loose connection

I would take the back cover off your smoker tower and check the wire connections first

I checked all of the wiring.  Got a hold of customer support today and they are sending me a new element and fusible link.  Thanks for all of your help

Oh yea.  even though I was doubting my purchase of the Bradley,  I do like the customer service.  Everybody was spot on, they are very helpful.  Sorry for the harsh words I was calling my smoker and customer service on Sun when I couldn't get it fired up. ;)

Hey we all go off on tangents now and then, but the one thing about the Bradley's is the customer service is second to none. You can't ask for better service. Good luck.

I am up and running again.  It turned out to be the heating element.  Sad thing is nothing prepared to throw in it. I will have to think fast, having the smoking DT's.  Thanks Customer service.

Thanks for the idea.  they came out great and was quick to do.  Family stopping by for Trick or Treat almost ate them all before I got any.
