I have not shipped any jerky however I have mailed out snack stix.  I use the priority shipping and just vac seal the stuff and it gets there in 2 to 3 days.  So far no one has died or complained  ;D  The stix's have cure #1 and I am thinking that they should have a shelf life of at least 1 week in a vac bag but that is just a SWAG.  I would be interested to really know what the shelf life of a cured product in a vac bag would be with out being cold.

Enough ain't enough and too much is just about right.

Ya, This will be going 2-3 day back to the midwest from Wa state. maybe I will freeze it first then throw it in the box wrapped with newspapers.

When i ship to Iraq and Afg i spray with PS...Potassium Sorbate, It keeps the mold and yuck off it.

2 to 3 days is not a problem if it's dried enough ( jerky not beef chunks)and vac sealed. Never had a problem as long as the temps aren't in the 100's whee your shipping to.
My current address is......... :D  ;)
Someone sure is lucky.  :)

can you find a sliver of dry Ice I have shipped fresh fish that way. Stick in the box with the newspaper and it might even be frozen by the time it gets to its destination.
