Has anyone ever made a smoker out of one of those small bar fridges? I have one and I thought it would be a cool project with a bradley smoke unit.

One question I have is done I have to strip the foam insulation out or can it handle the smoker temp.

Any ideas or suggestion would be GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGggreat.   (as Tony the tiger would say)

Here's a link to a part of the forum with a number of posts on homemade smokers using the Bradley Smoke Generator. There is a fair number of them including 2 larger ones that I have built.

Here's my 2 cents on the bar fridge...
Most current fridges have foam type insulation which isn't designed for heat. In addition, most bar style fridges will have a plastic interior which will also have to be removed.

I hear ya I just thought it would be a waste to not use it. I figure I would have to strip the guts out of it.

Thanx
