The tornado that ripped through my neck of the woods was an EF-5 class tornado.   It was 1.25 miles wide, stayed on the ground for 135 miles and packed winds of 200 mph +.

Now that's a big one folks.   We are still waiting official count on injured and dead.
Live, ride, eat well and thank God!

We watched a news program that showed the path of that tornado that you could see it from a satalite and I think google earth still has it up...we had a couple of small tornados here out of that storm system but nothing like y'all had..

Hey Tommy...

You know that Starne's sauce we're always talking about?
That joint is just a couple of blocks from where I grew up, and another block away is big city park...
When I was about 12 years old, a "minor" (EF-2?) hit that park and pulled 100+ year old OAK trees out of the ground.
Threw 'em all over the neighborhood like they were toothpicks.

I NEVER EVER wanna see a "EF-FIVE".  Good Lord...
Hope y'all recover (as best as possible) ASAP.  Whatta mess.

Like I said we are looking for my father in laws shed but still can't find it.  You think a 60 x 120 shed would be easy to find  :o

Here is a good picture of the farm and damage.  Sister in-law found it on the net, you can see where the shed use to be and the other sister in-law's house that took a hit

I found this photo while looking through my files.  Kinda give you an idea of how big the shed was

This one taken 2 days after the tornado
