One month to the day and heating element is gone.

I bought a Bradley digital one month ago and the heating element is gone after 4 smokes.
I checked all the connections and fuse too. The smoke works fine but the heater does not.
Well the Maverick ET-73 I just bought let me know the oven element broke down and wasn't working from the comfort
of my favourite chair while the race was on.
I have returned it to the store for warranty repairs and now the wait.
I like this smoker and can't wait to get it back for a batch of ribs because companys coming this weekend.

Bradley had a bad batch of elements a while back and although they said they purged the inventory of loose elements and those in production, i am sure there probably are still csome out there in units. The good thing is their customer service is top notch. If you have any problems in the future (not that you will) call Bradley before returning it. They probably would have sent you out a replacement part. They usually get things to you in a couple of das after you call. The element is an easier replacement.

Thanks Gus,  I guess i'm a victim of a bad supplier. Not to worry. Bradley is making good on the warranty. It should be returned to me shortly - all repaired. :)

Savage, not to Hi-Jack your post but how does Bradley know if your really in the warranty time frame or if your just BS'n them to get a new element?

I would guess he registered the smoker when he got it, and if he did they have a record of it...and as good as The Bradley Smoker people are I think they would take him at his word and take care of it...
