HOLLY CRAP!

Now THATS a roaster Kevin!
I couldnt believe it when I saw it. Very cool! It works, too.  The cord had never been unwrapped! The bottom part, which has the on/off timer, has never been used. There is also a griddle which fits on top, The turkey holder comes out as does the inside turkey tray. The roaster comes off the bottom unit, which I believe was sold as an optional unit, and can be stored in a cabinet if desired. There is a little slide out tray with cooking times for various foods just under the red temperature dial. Pretty heavy metal too. This whole thing is in amazingly good shape! This model was made from 1948-1950.

not bad for $25...... :) :)

According to the instruction manual—which is a hoot to read—it's supposed to be able to hold up an 18lb turkey....not sure how many links that translates into...a bunch?

Kirby, I have my eye on a particular smoker model that I just need to find the time to pick up locally.
I'm out of town this weekend so it'll have to wait until later next week.

Plus I have to find one of those stylish aprons.... ;)
