Need help with my PID

Hello folks!
  Just finished the installation of my PID on my OBS.  When I turn in on and set the temperature to say...  150oF, everything looks okay so far.  The element turns on and heat starts to build up.  After 30 minutes, the PV temp is showing 114oF but the temp in my OBS is now at 225oF.  TC is a type K thermocouple.  Inital PV temps on PID matched OBS temp before temperature increase.  If I leave it on for a longer time, PV temp remains the same and the PID autotune is not helping at all.  PID setup is reporting a K type TC, P is 30, I is 240 and D is 100...  Could it be a bad TC??
