Powdered dextrose

I am in the process of making a "hamzilla" vis ten 5 recipe and I ran out of powdered dextrose but I have a whole jar of Corn Syrup Solids can I use half and half ?

1/2 corn syrup solids and 1/2 Powdered Dextrose ?

In this case either can be used as a sweeteners, but keep in mind that corn syrup solids are about 40% -50% as sweet as sugar, and dextrose (glucose) is about 70% sugar. So if you are going to mix them I would go about 2 parts corn syrup solids (3/4 to 1 cup), and 1 part dextrose (1/2cup), to keep about the same amount of sweetness. Or you can even use 2/3 cup + 1 tablespoon of white sugar for about the same sweetness level.
